Preventative Maintenance Plan
Southwest Home and Hearth, Inc. Fireplace Preventative Maintenance Plan provides one annual preventative maintenance service call to maintain the optimal performance and efficiency of your fireplace and/or log sets. During this service call, our service technicians will perform a comprehensive inspection of most electric, wood-burning, or gas fireplace and/or gas logs. We will advise you of any necessary repairs. (Note: No repairs will be made without your approval.) Cost for needed parts and extra labor for replacing parts are not included in the P. M. P. pricing. Southwest Home and Hearth, Inc. warrantees its work for 60 days from the date of service. This annual service inspection includes the following:

Check glass seal and gaskets for deterioration and CO2 |

Clean glass (if applicable) |
|
Test for gas leaks |
|
Check venting and drafting |
|
Vacuum bottom of fireplace |
|
Remove, clean, and check burner and venture (air shutter) settings |
|
Inspect, adjust, and clean pilot assembly |
|
Clean logs and verify correct log placement |
|
Check milli-volt gas valve readings and gas valve pressures |
|
Test piezoelectric igniter (if applicable) |
|
Test all fireplace accessories for proper operation |
|
Touch up the inside firebox paint |
|
Test fire the unit |
